A Word from Our Founder
I’m Brandy Jenkins, a board-certified music therapist committed to human rights and challenging oppressive systems that contribute to our collective exhaustion. My mission is to create inclusive sound-based experiences to support resilience and help manage stress, fatigue, and burnout. Like many of you, I have felt the overwhelming pressures that come from constantly trying to do more, be more, and keep up with modern life. I’ve been in the depths of burnout trying to cope with chronic stress and the physical and mental fatigue that comes with living in a culture that promotes profit over people. I created this company because I believe that finding ways to manage stress, reconnect with ourselves and others, and build resilience can create real change - both personally and systematically. Small practices like learning how to regulate our nervous system when needed or taking time for real self-care can ripple out and inspire broader shifts in how we live and work. Through Sound Path Services, I offer sound-based wellness experiences like sound baths and interactive workshops designed to ease stress, re-energize, and build meaningful connections. My approach combines sound, community, and evidence-informed techniques to inspire more hope, balance, and resilience in life. Reach out with any questions or if you want to create something fun and meaningful that adds real value to your team or event.
Sound as medicine for the mind, body, and spirit…
As your brain and body absorb sounds, your cells automatically sync with the vibrations. That’s why you’ll catch yourself tapping your foot to the rhythm or why upbeat music is energizing, but not the best for sleep. Music and Sound Therapy takes advantage of this process - called sympathetic resonance or entrainment - to balance brainwaves, lift your mood, and support your body’s natural ability to heal. It’s a great way to support your nervous system and feel more at ease and less overwhelmed..
